Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 19th February 2025 
 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in any training services, programs, camps, events, pickup social / scrimmage games offered by Swishlab Basketball Training Academy ("Swishlab," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for or participating in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 

1. Registration and Payment:

  • Registration: Registration for programs, camps, or events is required. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Payment: Payment is due upon registration unless otherwise specified. We accept online payments through our website and direct bank transfers. 

  • Late Payment: Late payments may result in the cancellation of your registration.

  • Pricing: Swishlab reserves the right to change pricing and program details at any time.

 

2. Participation and Conduct:

  • Eligibility: Participants must meet the age and skill level requirements for the selected program.

  • Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain respectful and sportsmanlike conduct at all times. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in dismissal from the program. Refer to our Code of Conduct for participants and parents/guardians for details.

  • Attendance: Regular attendance is expected. No refunds will be issued for missed sessions without prior notification and valid reason.

  • Safety: Participants must adhere to all safety instructions provided by coaches and staff.

  • Medical Information: Participants are responsible for providing accurate medical information and notifying Swishlab of any relevant health conditions.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds:

  • Cancellation by Participant: Refer to our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

  • Cancellation by Swishlab: Swishlab reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to insufficient enrollment, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

  • No make up classes provided.

 

4. Liability and Waiver:

  • Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge that basketball training involves inherent risks and agree to assume all risks associated with participation.

  • Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swishlab, its coaches, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred by participants.

  • Medical Treatment: Participants authorize Swishlab to seek medical treatment in case of an emergency.

  • Property: Swishlab is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

 

5. Media Release:

  • Participants grant Swishlab permission to use photos and videos taken during training sessions, camps, or events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your image to be used, you must notify Swishlab in writing.

 

6. Intellectual Property:

  • All training materials, drills, and content provided by Swishlab are the intellectual property of Swishlab and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

 

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

  • Swishlab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to participants.

9. Severability:

  • If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.  

 

10. Entire Agreement:

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Swishlab and participants regarding the training services provided.
